The growing trend of cesarean section (SC) operations has drawn international attention. Understanding the risks and benefits of SC surgery will enable health workers to provide the right advice to facilitate patients and their families in the preparation for and care following SC. The program's collaboration partner is the Salimah in Banyumas Regency. The goal is for the community, particularly expectant mothers and mothers, to understand what can and cannot be done before and after SC delivery, as well as what is excluded or prohibited. The program method uses live on-air interactive discussion lectures at PRO 1 RRI Purwokerto with participants, namely radio listeners in the Banyumas area, with the main target being expectant mothers and pregnant women. The program activities are carried out on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Providing education via radio according to a predetermined schedule with the stages of the first session opening by the host and introduction of the speakers, the second session of material presentation, and the third session of question and answer or discussion with listeners, which is closed with a conclusion by the host. The conclusion of this program activity is the increased knowledge of the general public among those who listen to Pro 1 RRI Purwokerto in terms of women's health related to SC deliveries as well as myths and facts about childbirth. As seen from the variety of questions asked, listeners show enthusiasm for asking questions. It is recommended that health education programs through radio be sustainable.References
